The primary purpose of the complex is to evaluate the capability of controlling a bioelectric prosthesis working with an external energy source using EMG signals taken from the skin surface. Besides that, the complex allows to generate a medical-technical conclusion (on the capability of controlling a bioelectric prosthesis working with an external energy source) as a result of the evaluation (hereinafter the report).

Evaluation of the control capability is carried out by analyzing signals of two muscle groups (flexion and extension of wrist joint muscles). If the patient can control these muscles separately in time, then this is enough to control most upper limb prostheses with an external energy source.
