The person in this position is responsible for providing patients in a timely manner with all necessary prosthetic activities examining the limb (-s), assessments, online and offline consultations, socket fabrication, assembling, installation and primary training of prosthesis’s usage and maintenance, tracking prosthetic incidents like: socket correction and replacement when needed and perform the training of prosthetists pan India when required.
At the same time a person in this position should perform the certification training of other prosthetists in regards to installation and specification of usage of Motorica products.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Related work experience
At least two years of additional proven clinical experience after training is highly desirable.
Formal education or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and orthotics with a minimum of 70% from a recognised university or relevant professional experience. Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India to perform prosthetic training of the third parties.
Skill
Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient (ranging from 2 years old to geriatric). Knowledge of technological processes of prosthetics. Skills of basic rehabilitation during the prosthetic procedure. Knowledge of country specific standards and regulations in the prosthetic field. English proficiency - upper intermediate. Basic computer skills.
Soft skills: highly self organized, with great time management skills, ability to work independently with high efficiency, easy to move on urgent demand, able to deal with multitask and pressure.
Traveling: On demand, may require different area of the country
